He says he didn't know who that was and never heard of him. Mr. French, or Giles French, is a character from the television series Family Affair, and was played by Sebastian Cabot.

The main helicopter used in the film is a Sikorsky S-92. At the time of production, the S-92 wasn't FAA certified, and didn't have much of an interior. No cast or film crew were allowed on board during operation, and all interior shots had to be faked.
