In an interview, Bud Spencer revealed that once, when shooting a scene, real police came to arrest he and Terence Hill because they thought they were two criminals disguised as fake policemen. This happened because real police gave permission to the crew to shot the movie but they didn't know how and when the scenes were going to be shot.

This film has had three English language titles including "Crime Busters" and "Trinity: In Trouble Again". The film's other English title is "Two Supercops". Terence Hill and Bud Spencer would later actually co-star in a film with a similar title called Miami Supercops (1985) but that movie is not a sequel to this film.
