In this film, Sterling Holloway voices one of the side-characters Roquefort and Eva Gabor voices the side-character Duchess. Eventually, they both went on to voice the lead characters in future Walt Disney Animation Studios films. Holloway reprised his role as Pooh Bear in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) and Gabor voiced Miss Bianca in The Rescuers (1977) and its sequel The Rescuers Down Under (1990).
