When Annie arrives in California, she discovers Nick is engaged to Meredith, a beautiful and much younger woman. Realizing Meredith is only after Nick and #8217;s money, the twins reveal that they switched places. Elizabeth flies to California with Hallie so the twins can be switched back. Annie and Hallie plot to break up dad and #8217;s engagement and get their parents back together. Greedy Meredith is exposed as a gold digger, and Nick and Elizabeth realize they are still in love and remarry.
