Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ending explained (spoilers)

The mother T-rex helps the group and knocks Rudy over a cliff. Manny (voice of Ray Romano), Ellie (voiced by Queen Latifah), their baby Peaches, Sid (voice of John Leguizamo), Diego (voice of Denis Leary), Crash (voice of Seann William Scott) and Eddie (voice of Josh Peck) head back to the surface. They invite Buck (voiced by Simon Pegg) to join them and he tags along. On their way back, Rudy's roar is heard and Buck changes his mind; he cuts off access to the jungle and heads back. Manny and Ellie welcome their daughter Peaches to their world. Diego decides to remain with the group. Buck is happy to be in the jungle and still fighting with Rudy. Scrat and Scratte start decorating their new house and Scrat runs off to get an acorn. Scratte notices and the two fight for the acorn. She jams the acorn into the ground and it triggers an explosion which throws Scrat back to the surface world. Scratte remains in the jungle, Scrat loses the acorn and screams in frustration.

Aladar and his group find a safer path to the nesting grounds. He tells Kron and the other dinosaurs about the safer way before they walk through a rocky and more difficult terrain. One of the Carnotaurs kills Kron. Aladar leads the Carnotaur to a cliff and it falls. Some time later: Neera and Aladar and a bunch of other dinos have kids. Plio narrates that she doesnt know if there will be any changes in the future and that life goes on and she hopes that the time of the dinosaurs will be remembered...
