When Peter sees Wendy's granddaughter, the poster behind her bed is for The Beatles' movie A Hard Day's Night (1964). As that movie was released in July of 1964, and Peter would visit in the spring, this would make it the spring of 1965, which is twenty-six years before the story begins.
