At the very end of the movie after Vukovich tells Chance's girlfriend that she is now working for him outside the back you can clearly see Chance's blue pickup truck pull up as if to pick her up and you can clearly make out William Petersen's head at the wheel of the truck. Does this suggest that he was never killed or is it just her daydreaming about him coming to get her.
