Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III ending explained (spoilers)

Walker is caught on the roof with the turtles cornering him. He throws the scepter in an attempt to break it but Mike catches it. Wick shoots the rope holding Walker up with a cannonball, and he falls into the sea (presumably to his death).Once the turtles and April get ready to head back to the present, Mike says he doesn't want to go because people treat them better in feudal times. Raph agrees, but Mitsu changes their minds, saying that the turtles shouldn't stay because a war may start again. Meanwhile, Kenshin activates the scepter in the modern day without his honor guards, but Casey manages to get them back in time. However, Mike just misses going back after he talks to Mitsu, but the scepter activates again, sending Mike back to New York with the scepter destroyed so it can't ever be used again.

Vernon helps April stop Sachs, after finding out that he killed her father. April heads to the roof of the tower and helps the four turtles stop Shredder from spreading the deadly toxin to the city. Shredder falls to the ground while the turtles hold onto the radio spire which cushions their fall. Shredders hand is seen clenching into a fist as people gather around him and the turtles retreat to the sewer.

Donatello administers the mutagen to heal Splinter, who awakens and thanks his sons for rescuing him and the city. Later, Vernon meets April in his new car provided by Channel 6 after the van was destroyed, but the turtles show up in their new and improved Turtle Van, accidentally destroying Vernons new car by launching a missile at it. The four roll off as April and Vernon head for a subway station.

Splinter kills Shredder by causing him to fall to his death. After he falls into a garbage truck, Casey Jones turns on the machine that crushes the trash which Shredder is in. The turtles reunite with Splinter, Danny reunites with his father, and Casey kisses April.
